To my dear friends, and friends of friends,

You're invited to a gentle yet powerful practice, experienced while lying down, with a focus on releasing tension, calming the mind, and cultivating a deep sense of healing and reconnection.

You might know this therapeutic approach to have modern variations and names such as NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest), iRest, RRSM (Rest and Revitalization Sleep Meditation) - all of which are based on yoga nidra, which is a powerful practice that helps one enter a state of deep rest and inner calm.

This practice is a kind of meditation where you can access your subconscious, resilience, and deep healing capacity.

In this class you may experientially learn to

- Relax deeply and let go of tension in the body

- Calm the nervous system and cultivate a sense of safety and groundedness

- Release trauma and stress from the body

- Build resilience and support ongoing healing

- Cultivate a sense of calm and stillness

Setting up your practice space:

- Find a quiet, comfortable and private space.

- Gather pillows, blankets, eye cover and anything else you might need to feel comfy.

- You may choose to bring a pen and paper for personal reflection at the end, or simply to remember.


Important note: This practice has the potential to shift thoughts, emotions or energies within you, so while you may get results, you may also encounter discomfort as things move and reorganize within our own body, emotions and mind. Something to be aware of when entering a deep practice.
